From what I heard it is supposed to search more than 20 major hotel booking sites and help users choose the one at the right price.

Major corporations leave Ireland

The corporations Motorola, BUPA and FCI have all made or implemented plans to leave the Irish market. This has come as a great shock, considering that Motorola’s withdrawal alone will leave up to 350 jobless. The US-based telecommunications giant has a plant in Cork.
The news shocked senior level officials and statesmen as well. This company has operated on the Irish market for a quarter of a century. What is even worse, the Cork branch is involved with software development and employs highly qualified staff.

Desperate people in Dublin crusade for modeling jobs

Over 100 people rushed to the Burlington Hotel in Dublin with the hope to get catalog, catwalk or advertising work. The reason was that Regardez model management agency had announced a modeling competition with free photo trials.
You could see all kinds of people there – parents dragging along their photogenic children, older people in dire need of money and/or a career change and young starry-eyed women. They all had one thing in common – the disappointment that the campaign wasn’t actually free.

Carlo Ponti died at 94

The famous Italian producer and husband of Sophia Loren died two days ago in a Swiss hospital. He was hospitalized in Geneva for pulmonary complications, but the precise cause of death is still unknown.

Ponti was born in 1913 near Milan and after working as a lawyer he started the career as a film-maker. He worked with world renowned directors like Federico Fellini and David Lean. Ponti’s fame came out in 1965, when he was nominated for an Oscar as a producer of "Doctor Zhivago". The audience knows his name also by films such as "Blow-Up," "The Verdict" and "The Cassandra Crossing".

Those that have already seen the first episode of the gigantic tale about Roman Empire will be captured by its second part, which first episode will be released on HBO this Sunday. Critics say that the written version is not so impressive as the film, because it is more attractive for the eye to follow the story with all the historical places, people and events into visual action. Cleopatra will be the main character with all her beauty and majesty. The TV auditory will be able to follow her drama and hear her words of sacrifice “If I must prostitute myself for the good of my country and my family, I will".

Support an Athlete campaign commences in Dublin

Special Olympics Ireland launched the “Support an Athlete” campaign in Dublin. The goal is to raise EUR 5 million for athletes. The initiative is backed by celebrities such as Colin Farrell.
SOI has helped thousands of disabled persons experience the benefits and joy of playing sports in the last four years, since the World Games were last held in Ireland. This was reported by SOI executive Mary Davis.

Tube station shut after gas leak

Services on the Hammersmith and City tube line has been partly suspended due to a gas leak.

Hammersmith underground station, which is on the Hammersmith and City line, has been closed since 1540 GMT.

The line is shut between Hammersmith and Edgware Road stations. Shepherd's Bush Road has also been closed between Brook Green and Hammersmith Broadway.

London Underground (LU) said the leak was near the Hammersmith Palais and an investigation is under way.

what can I say, last night we were all treated to an amazing night of music and fun by Ben and the Religion team. Dj's Richard Jones, Hollie and Tony B rocked the building with fantastic funky sets.
I have to say that for me it was the best night out I have been too for sometime in brighton, which was packed with a very sexy and funky crowd it reminded me of the way things were a year ago..
