Versace plans to build luxury hotels

The world renowned Italian fashion house Versace has recently announced that its owners plan to build 15 luxury resorts in different countries.

Versace magnate is already an owner of a hotel on Australia's Gold Coast but this time an agreement with local Australian proprietor was signed about the new 7-star hotels which will be furnitured and designed with the typical for the fashion company glamour.

The activity with hotels will be the next luxurious business possessed by the company. Up to now Versace deals with clothing, private jets and yachts. It is not clear about the amount of future profits from the hotel deal but they are expected to be huge. This will help the company to recover after the period close to bankruptcy after the death of Versace in 1990.

The first from the hotels chain will open doors in 2009 and will be situated in Dubai. Wellness area with a swimming pool, live exotic fish and specially cooled sand will be at guests’ disposal.
