The nurseries in Barcelona are running low
and families have no place to give their children at.
According to statistics, just a little over 50% of the demands can be met - that means from 6580 families who have children between 0 and 3, only 3459 are really able to find a nursery. The district with the greatst problems are Les Corts and Gracia. The region with the highest number of places is Eixample.

The main reason is the increased births, but the tendency is that even more children will get born in the following years.
