Warsaw roads after winter

Wow! That was the longest winter in my life.
And it seems not for me only.
Poland is well known for the worst roads in the world. Simply, our engineers are unable to build proper roads due to great difference of temperatures throughout the year.
In general the temperature goes down to minus 30 every winter. It goes up to +50 Celsius degrees in summer sun.
No need to say that such climate kills the roads.

Saturday night in Warsaw

Warsaw is a busy city. Hard to believe but it is really difficult to get a table in a pub / bar without booking earlier or coming early. I mean the "drinking" places here.

If you want to spend your evening cheap in one of the small venues near the Nowy Swiat Street - forget about coming later than 8pm. Simply, all seats are taken. What is worse, waiting a quarter for a free table is not the solution. People won't leave until 11pm when they head towards one of the Warsaw clubs.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Michal and I will be your guide to Warsaw.
I have lived here all my life and believe my tips about the city help you discover this great city.

Although completely crushed during the 2nd World War, the city was restored by the entire nation. Today, it features charming Old Town area that has been listed on the UNESCO Heritage list and is really worth a visit.
The city features abundance of museums and a variety of night life venues to attend. I will try to lead you the right places so that you do not miss the right events.
